English Language Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic English Educator to join our team at Reed Education. As an Academic English Educator, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the subject of English, with a focus on improving their language skills and academic performance.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Mentoring: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to support students in achieving their academic goals, with a focus on improving their language skills and academic performance.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess student work and progress, providing regular feedback and using this to inform your teaching and improve student outcomes.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, ensuring that students are challenged and supported in their learning.
- Student Support: Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome any challenges they may be facing and achieve their full potential.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas, and to ensure that students receive a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
Our school is a specialist education provider for students aged 11-16, offering a personalized curriculum and a therapeutic and holistic educational experience. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment that allows students to focus on their academic and personal development.
Requirements- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (pre- or post-16) and a strong background in teaching English.
- Experience: Proven experience of teaching and mentoring students in the subject of English, with a focus on improving their language skills and academic performance.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
