About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our National team at AECOM. As a key member of our Building and Places - Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading a team to effectively manage and deliver capital investment projects in the Energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary Transmission, Distribution, and Power Systems projects.
  • Handle client-side project management, including stakeholder engagement, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management.
  • Ensure projects and commissions meet client expectations in terms of quality, cost, and time.
  • Support and supervise the project team, ensuring adequate resources for projects that meet client and business needs.
  • Effectively manage subcontractors and resources situated away from the core project team.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
  • Support business development endeavors with both existing and new clients.
Requirements
  • A minimum of six years' experience in project management.
  • A project management certification such as PRINCE2 or APM.
  • A relevant degree in engineering, environmental science, construction, or a related field.
  • A solid background in both contract (NEC3 and 4) and project management.
  • Membership in a related professional body, preferably chartered.
