Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our Building Technologies Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electronic security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and specification of electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Production of design documentation, including general arrangements, camera field of view drawings, door elevation details, and system schematics.
  • Collaboration with our BIM team to prepare models and drawings using Autodesk Revit.
  • Site surveys, inspections, and monitoring of site works.
  • Managing own workload and updating forward plan of workload regularly.
  • Reviewing progress and reporting any anomalies and changes of scope to the project lead.
  • Technical report writing and maintaining complete records and archives to company standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a Security, Electronic Engineering, or ICT related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution or working towards Chartership.
  • Strong project experience of designing enterprise level electronic access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Understanding of systems integration and security management systems.
  • Good understanding of IP data networks and the associated physical infrastructure.
