A prestigious national law firm, recognized for its extensive legal expertise, is on the lookout for a Public Relations Manager to enhance their Cardiff office. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the firm's public persona and executing strategic PR initiatives to bolster the firm's standing in the industry. Your responsibilities will include drafting press releases, managing media interactions, and leveraging digital platforms to showcase the firm's offerings and events. This position is perfect for a seasoned PR expert eager to make a substantial difference within a top-tier law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the firm's PR and Communications strategy by producing press releases for specific media channels and the firm's online presence.
- Proactively identify opportunities for media exposure, including arranging interviews, feature articles, and guest contributions.
- Maintain a robust network of media contacts and ensure the press database is current.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to align PR efforts with overall marketing and communication strategies.
- Utilize media monitoring tools to assess the firm's online reputation and the success of PR initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor movements to uncover and capitalize on PR opportunities.
- Assist the Head of PR and Communication with both internal and external communication materials and event planning.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-3 years of experience in a PR Manager role or a similar capacity.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling content for varied audiences.
- Proven ability to cultivate and sustain relationships across different business sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of both traditional and digital media channels.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.
