Staffbase Recruitment Ltd is proud to partner with a leading engineering firm that specializes in precision manufacturing. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their dynamic team, focusing on 3 & 5 axis machinery.

Position Summary:

The CNC Programmer will report directly to the Team Leader and will be tasked with programming, setting up, and operating advanced 3 and/or 5 axis CNC milling machines, specifically Mazak and/or DMG models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce large, fabricated components from a variety of metals.
  • Working with materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, nickel alloys, and carbon steel.
  • Ensuring precision and quality in all machined parts.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming and setting for 3 and/or 5 axis machinery.
  • Familiarity with control systems such as Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Fanuc.

Work Schedule:

This position offers a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, totaling 39 hours, with opportunities for overtime. Various shift patterns are available, including days, nights, and rotating shifts.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £40K to £50K, plus overtime.
  • 33 days of annual leave.
  • Sick pay and pension contributions.
