About the Role

Ferguson Dean, a leading regional wealth management firm, is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join their technical team. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Advisers in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive reviews of clients' financial situations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including standard paragraphs and free-text sections, to present findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct thorough research on the whole market to stay up-to-date on market positions and global situations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Stay current with market trends and global developments to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Utilize cash flow modeling and lifestyle planning tools as required to provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Work with external discretionary fund managers (DFMs) as needed to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
  • Attend client meetings as required to provide support and guidance.

Requirements

  • Diploma Level 4 or higher in a relevant field, with a strong desire to pursue Chartered status.
  • Experience working with high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients.
  • Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
