Logistics and Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at Office Angels. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth supply chain management and efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast needs, advising on restocking to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage stock acquisition, raise purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely deliveries to meet business needs.
  • Choose efficient and cost-effective transportation for shipments, minimizing costs and environmental impact.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to plan payments and maintain cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships across regions, fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Operations, Warehousing, Finance, and more, to ensure seamless communication and effective decision-making.
  • Identify new suppliers to improve cost, sustainability, or environmental impact, driving business innovation and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records on the system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Update procedures and best practices for team use, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
General Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively, provide feedback, and treat everyone with respect, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Keep orderly records and travel as needed for supplier visits or events, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Pursue professional development and complete ad hoc tasks, driving personal and professional growth.
  • Follow company policies, health and safety rules, and promote Corporate Social Responsibility, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Supply Chain or Procurement Management qualification (desirable).
  • Experience with global logistics (sea, rail, air) and team management.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Resilient, adaptable, organized, and strong in communication.
