About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient production of goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, implementing production schedules, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise factory workers and monitor their performance to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet targets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to minimize waste and optimize production.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of leadership and experience in factory management, including responsibility for multiple sites. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional leadership and people skills, with the ability to manage through delegation.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience of tracking production statistics, variances, and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor staff.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
