An excellent opportunity has arisen to become part of a renowned global entity within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector as a Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician. Your role will encompass a range of maintenance responsibilities aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of production equipment, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and rectifying machinery issues while swiftly addressing production line interruptions
- Executing preventive maintenance tasks and conducting safety evaluations
- Performing fault diagnosis and troubleshooting during reactive maintenance scenarios
- Carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Ensuring timely resolution of equipment failures and compliance with maintenance timelines
- Assisting in project initiatives and fostering a safe working atmosphere
- Working in conjunction with the operations team to enhance production efficiency
- Embracing a continuous improvement philosophy and a proactive stance towards problem resolution
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineering
- Relevant Engineering Certifications - Electrical qualifications are advantageous
- Proficient Fault Diagnosis Skills
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Capability to operate autonomously or collaboratively within a team
- Background in Industrial Maintenance Engineering
