About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EA and Quantity Surveyor to join our Employer's Agent team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our Development Construction department, you will be responsible for managing independent projects covering the North, Midlands, and South East regions of the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the contract administration of Design and Build construction projects
  • Chair progress meetings, carry out interim valuations, and issue contract instructions
  • Assess contractual claims, manage information flow, and liaise with internal partner departments
  • Contribute to the provision of all legislative and regulatory requirements for development activities
  • Manage risk and finance in relation to development opportunities and projects

Requirements

  • A relevant BSc degree qualification and ideally a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), or working towards Chartership
  • Member or close to membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Recent experience in undertaking a similar role working within a professional consultancy or a similar organisation
  • Experience in the construction of a variety of building types, with particular experience in residential properties, Care Homes, and student accommodation is desirable
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
