Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Sanctuary Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team in the West Midlands region. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the management of commercial administration for regional capital construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Senior Quantity Surveyors in quantity surveying tasks on construction projects
- Complete administration duties in relation to capital projects, ensuring the needs are met
- Ensure all legislative and regulatory requirements are met for development and reinvestment capital activities
- Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensure all projects and works are delivered to a high quality, safe, compliant, and environmentally sustainable standard
- Qualification in Surveying or Construction, or currently undertaking the qualifications
- Recent experience in a building and surveying environment
- Experience of providing administrative support in a commercially focused housing and/or contracting business
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads
- Some experience of project management and supporting the effective delivery of projects
- Understanding of managing commercial administration for construction projects
- Working knowledge of legislation and current practices
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving license is essential
