About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at ASM Global - Europe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage areas, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all Food & Beverage areas.
  • Maximise the use of available resources to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and manage a team across various F&B areas, including suites, VIP bars, kiosks, conference, and banqueting.
  • Coordinate with F&B Managers, other venue departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless event execution for clients.
  • Monitor and manage the EPOS system daily, providing reports as required.
  • Oversee stock ordering in line with the events calendar and raise Purchase Orders according to company procedures in collaboration with the warehouse manager.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and aligned with upcoming events to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage staff, including casual employees, to maintain a high-performance team.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food hygiene regulations, and all relevant legislation within F&B operations.

Requirements:

  • Impeccable customer service skills and a passion for delivery with finesse.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced premium environment in either hospitality or retail.
  • Professional and articulate communication skills.
  • A track record working in a guest/ customer facing role.
  • A can-do approach with a positive attitude when it comes to facing challenges.
