We are in search of a dynamic, empathetic, and driven individual to fulfill this role. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with individuals with disabilities and those encountering barriers, assisting them in overcoming the hurdles associated with entering the workforce, enhancing their skills, and achieving their career aspirations. This position entails delivering tailored coaching, mentoring, and practical assistance to ensure that everyone can attain their objectives and maximize their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized coaching and mentoring.
- Develop personalized career plans and set achievable goals.
- Assist clients with job applications and prepare them for interviews.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local employers.
- Advocate for necessary adjustments within the workplace.
- Monitor and assess client progress.
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with various partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a qualification equivalent to SVQ level 3/HNC in Health & Social Care or a background in training and employability. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and those facing significant barriers is essential.
Travel throughout North Lanarkshire and nearby areas is a requirement due to the geographical nature of the role.
It is mandatory to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to commencing this position.

Monday to Thursday 08:45am to 16:45pm
