About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regenerate prepared meals to the highest standards
  • Prepare cold food and assist with food storage and handling
  • Contribute to a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Receive and store deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Support the compliance of food safety policies, procedures, and legislation

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with good numeracy and literacy skills, who is able to work effectively in a customer-focused environment. Previous experience in catering or a related field is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or above is also preferred.
