Role Summary

The Technical Lead will play a crucial role within the Digital Systems and Solutions Team, which spearheads digital transformation and data initiatives within our organization. This position is essential for directing the technical strategy and execution of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and leading a team of developers in an Agile environment.

The Technical Lead is expected to be both a hands-on developer and a strategic planner, capable of navigating complex technical challenges while maintaining a focus on overarching project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Vision: Establish and uphold the technical strategy for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Architecture & Design: Ensure compliance with architectural standards, develop technical specifications, and guarantee scalability, performance, and security through code reviews and coding standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to plan sprints, estimate workloads, and monitor progress.
  • Problem Resolution: Tackle technical challenges, research solutions, and make informed decisions to navigate obstacles.
  • Quality Control: Maintain code quality through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices in software development.
  • Communication: Act as the primary technical liaison, effectively conveying complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to processes, generate documentation, and continually refine methodologies.
  • Release Oversight: Manage the release process, ensuring consistent delivery of software products and enforcing release policies.
  • Automation: Implement and maintain automation tools for build, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with development and operational needs.
  • CI/CD Management: Establish and uphold CI/CD pipelines, optimizing the transition from code commit to production deployment.
  • Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of system architecture, deployment processes, and release notes for clarity and future reference.
  • Training & Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives and provide training on best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience leading full-stack development teams.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.
  • Over 8 years of experience in web development.
  • Proficient in C#, .Net Core, ASP .Net, Entity Framework, and Web API.
  • Experience with Python and frameworks such as Flask or Django.
  • Skilled in developing APIs and RESTful services.
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake for database management.
  • Proficient in Angular for front-end development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud (AWS) and Edge Computing, along with DevOps practices.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in Agile environments and a strong team player.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify errors in code.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
