Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QSHE Manager to join our client's team in Poole. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for maintaining the management system, identifying initiatives to improve it, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the management system and identify initiatives to improve it, including procedures and processes.
  • Carry out and offer support/advice on risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH.
  • Maintain quality, safety, and environmental systems, implement, audit, and update associated documentation to achieve compliance.
  • Monitor, audit, and report on QSHE performance and provide feedback and assurance to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the business integrated Management system to underpin QSHE and operating standards.
  • Maintain a risk register, reviewing QSHE risks and escalating where appropriate.
  • Maintain a legal register to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QSHE standards.
  • Implement and monitor emergency management plans across all sites and ensure a robust line of escalation exists.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are provided to support a compliant business and identify any systemic weaknesses.
  • Advise, guide, support, and promote awareness and coach personnel with implementation of the company's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all essential tasks assigned to you are completed daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
Requirements
  • Previous QSHE Managerial experience.
  • A recognized safety and environmental qualification (diploma level or equivalent).
  • A holder of an auditor's qualification and experience in ISO 9001, 14001, 18001.
  • A NEBOSH diploma in occupational Health & Safety Level 3 – preferred.
  • A NVQ Level 4/5 Occupational Safety and Health practice.
  • Ideally, an IMEA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment) qualification.
