Lincoln, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom Lincolnshire County Council Full time
Public Health System and Pathway Analyst

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a skilled Public Health System and Pathway Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Public Health Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and influencing the future of health and care services across our county.

This is a brand new role, which will join an energetic and high-profile team leading a change programme to 'supercharge' integrated care closer to people's homes. You will support intelligence and stakeholder-based analysis of existing community and primary services, translating and driving this into the design and modelling for Community Primary Partnerships across the Lincolnshire Integrated Care System (ICS).

You will work closely with clinicians, senior leaders, and analysts across the ICS to extract data from source systems, manipulate and utilise this data to model both current designs and potential future pathways. You will shape and deliver bespoke analyses and engagement with topic experts, transforming the information gathered into actionable intelligence for planning and predicting the impact of proposed changes to existing and future delivery.

We are looking for candidates with experience of system transformation and change management, educated to degree level. You will also need to be able to demonstrate experience of developing and analysing population and business intelligence to help inform decision making.

We are seeking someone who is proactive, works autonomously, and has a passion for the application of high-quality health intelligence to improve population health and reducing inequalities.

  • Excellent data and analysis skills
  • Experience in interpreting and analysing data sources and intelligence
  • Experience developing customer-facing intelligence products including reports, slide decks and dynamic dashboards

This role sits in the System Partnership, Pathway and Policy Portfolio and is part of a system-wide programme of work, led by the Director of Public Health on behalf of the Lincolnshire Integrated Care System. The postholder will be required to build strong working relationships with the ICS Business Intelligence and Population Health Management team, Public Health Intelligence Team and other key colleagues from across the system.

We have a comprehensive workforce development programme with opportunities for professional development at all levels. Along with a competitive salary, we are offering a contributory pension, payment of professional fees, comprehensive benefits package including excellent discount schemes and cycle to work, flexible working policies, career progression opportunities, and a generous annual leave entitlement plus the option to buy more.

Please note that your covering letter should clearly state why you have applied, how you meet the essential and desirable criteria for the role as set out in the Job Description, and what you feel you can bring to this role, the team and the wider County Council.

We operate a talent pool scheme whereby candidates who are not successful on this occasion may be considered for a period of up to 3 months for equal positions. Lincolnshire County Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
