Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a category management approach to procure IT & Telco services, ensuring compliance, driving efficiencies, mitigating supply risks, and reducing the total cost of ownership.
- Conduct internal and external analyses to determine optimal sourcing strategies, engaging effectively with stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Lead or project manage sourcing activities in support of category plans, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Liaise with the Head of Procurement and Commercial for IT & Telco to provide updates on category performance and offer insights through reporting and commentary.
- Interface with IT & Telco stakeholders to understand demand and the impact of sourcing activities, fostering relationships with Legal, Data Protection, and Security to develop robust and agile contracts.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of IT contracts to draft special terms, including IT & Telco specific contract clauses, and provide guidance on risk assessment and mitigation.
- Apply advanced negotiation skills and knowledge of Software/SaaS commercial models to drive value.
- Employ excellent organizational and planning skills, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with procurement-related systems, such as Oracle, Jaggaer, and Achilles Utilities Vendor Database.
