About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Engagement Manager to join our team at Alcumus. As a key member of our sustainability division, you will play a crucial role in supporting our members to embed sustainability at the core of their organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging sustainability and decarbonisation workshops and webinars to our members and the wider public, leveraging digital platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
  • Collaborate with our Strategy and Communications specialists to develop and deliver bespoke advisory services, training material, and content that supports our members on their net zero journey.
  • Facilitate key conversations and events for our members, focusing on net zero targets, decarbonisation innovation, and supplier engagement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our members' business operations and sustainability ambitions, providing tailored support and guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest sustainability and climate news, frameworks, and policy to inform conversations with our members.
  • Record data and outputs from learning and engagement activities in our systems, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in business sustainability and decarbonisation solutions, with a strong understanding of Net Zero principles and GHG Protocol.
  • Excellent knowledge of online communication platforms, including Zoom, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel nationwide to deliver in-person workshops, with flexibility to accommodate early morning starts.
