Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Islington

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Islington. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a KS1 child who requires 1:1 support due to learning difficulties and behavioural problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a KS1 child with learning difficulties and behavioural problems
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with pupil's personal care needs if required
  • Be a team player with a flexible approach to teaching
  • Be confident working 1:1 with a KS1 child
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Primary School setting
  • Experience working with SEN children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
