Supply Chain Operations Manager

Craft Gin Club is a leading beverage company that has revolutionized the way consumers discover and enjoy new drinks from the comfort of their homes. As we continue to expand into new markets, product categories, and distribution channels, we are seeking a highly experienced Head of Supply Chain and Fulfilment to lead and optimize our global supply chain strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire end-to-end supply chain, including:

  1. Dry Goods and Packaging Procurement: Design, sourcing, and buying of dry goods and packaging materials.
  2. Global Inbound Logistics: Management of raw materials and finished goods from suppliers around the world.
  3. Distillation and Bottling: Oversight of the distillation and bottling process to ensure high-quality products.
  4. 3PL Finished Unit / Finished Order Assembly: Management of third-party logistics providers for assembly and packaging of finished goods.
  5. 3PL Finished Unit / Finished Order Dispatch: Coordination of third-party logistics providers for dispatch of finished goods to customers.
  6. 3PL Pick, Pack, and Dispatch: Management of third-party logistics providers for pick, pack, and dispatch of e-commerce orders.
  7. Carrier Management: Selection and management of carriers for transportation of goods.
  8. Duty Management: Compliance with duty regulations and management of duty payments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in overseeing large, fast-paced supply chains, particularly in the B2C/DTC sector. They will be responsible for managing a team of four operational head office staff and owning global supply chain budgets.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in B2C fulfilment and shipping is essential.
  • Experience managing multi-million-pound third-party relationships is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with 3PL API interfaces and WMS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
