Knowledge Exchange Manager

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Exchange Manager to join our dynamic team in a leading role. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver initiatives to promote and support external collaborations that leverage the University's research expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate knowledge exchange through contract and collaborative research, consultancy, testing services, and knowledge transfer partnerships.
  • Build strong relationships with academic and external partners to identify opportunities for income generation through knowledge exchange.
  • Provide support and guidance on available opportunities and proactively engage with SMEs, third sector, community, and commercial clients to understand their needs.
  • Broker agreements to support collaborative projects and work independently and as part of a team with colleagues across the University.
  • Develop and deliver initiatives to promote and support external collaborations that leverage the University's research expertise.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in knowledge exchange, technology transfer, or related fields, preferably within the university sector or industry.
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of securing income or grant funding.
  • Ability to identify business needs and communicate solutions in a clear and engaging way.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and influencing skills.
