Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Carpenter Multi to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a Regional Carpenter Multi, you will be responsible for providing expert-level carpentry services to our clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and rectify faults in carpentry and other related repair requests
  • Ensure the quality of work meets the highest standards
  • Support other trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations and resolve them efficiently
  • Keep customers informed of progress and plans
  • Undertake work efficiently and cost-effectively, minimizing non-productive time
  • Apply health and safety rules and regulations in all work
  • Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in a safe and clean condition
  • Maintain accurate records of work undertaken
  • Seek assistance from supervisors when required
  • Be willing to work out of hours as needed
  • Work within the company group and assist other contracts as directed
  • Maintain company vehicles in a clean and tidy condition

Requirements:

  • Trade-specific qualification minimum NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry
  • Competence in two other secondary skills
  • Full current driving license
  • Over 3 years of trade experience in the building maintenance industry
  • Familiarity with kitchen installation and mitred worktop joints
  • Ability to use the phone to communicate effectively
  • Comfortable dealing with customers and remaining professional
  • Understanding of the need to complete outstanding work prior to starting new tasks
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
  • Team player with a practical approach to health and safety
  • Problem solver with self-management and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to use knowledge and judgment to make decisions and find solutions
  • Understanding of company processes and culture
