About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support a disabled woman living in Fishponds. The successful candidate will provide assistance with domestic tasks, driving to appointments, and personal care as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cleaning tasks, including laundry, ironing, bed changing, dusting, vacuuming, and washing dishes.
  • Provide occasional support with personal care, reminding the individual to take daily medication and refill their dosette box.
  • Support the individual with weekly tasks, such as attending Slimming World, food shopping, and healthy meal prep and batch cooking.
  • Accompany the individual to Westerleigh Crematorium once a month to take flowers.

Requirements:

  • Mature and able to use initiative.
  • Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision.
  • Car driver preferred but not essential.

Working Hours: 20 hours per week, mornings between 9 am and 1 pm, with flexibility for afternoon appointments. Job share for two applicants considered.

Compensation: £11.44 per hour, including statutory annual leave and NEST Pension. Role subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
