About the Role

As a Care & Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in empowering independent living for our clients. You will be responsible for providing personalized care and support with daily living activities, personal hygiene, medication, and more.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Personalized Care: Offer hands-on support with daily living activities, personal hygiene, medication, and more, ensuring each individual's needs are met with respect and care.
  2. Domestic Assistance: Help with household tasks, from light cleaning and shopping to keeping shared spaces welcoming and tidy.
  3. Social Engagement: Arrange and support homeowners with social activities, transport, and appointments, enhancing their social connections and well-being.

What We're Looking For

  1. Experience and Skills: Ideally, you'll have experience in care or health services, with a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (though we welcome those looking for a meaningful career change, and full training is provided). Compassion, time management, and interpersonal skills are key.
  2. Driver's License: As a field-based role, a valid UK driving license is essential, along with a willingness to travel between sites.
  3. Flexibility: Able to work a flexible rota, including early starts, late finishes, and alternate weekends.
