Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech Ltd. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and executing electrical projects that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Design and Execution: Work closely with electrical designers to develop and implement electrical projects that meet client needs and industry regulations.
  2. Cable Routing and Optimization: Analyze 3D models to optimize cable routing and reduce costs, ensuring efficient and cost-effective implementation.
  3. Project Management: Manage project progress trackers, oversee the commissioning of electrical installations, and identify and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation disciplines.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop electrical solutions that meet client needs and industry regulations, and provide regular project updates and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  5. Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Ensure the implementation of quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality electrical solutions, identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project execution, and ensure thorough documentation of project activities.

Requirements:

  1. Electrical Engineering Experience: Experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in project execution and commissioning.
  2. Operational and Maintenance Engineering: Operational and maintenance engineering experience focused on plant improvements.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting 3D models and design schematics, hands-on experience with commissioning electrical installations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Experience across multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation, and experience in material handling, heavy industrial machinery, or similar sectors is a plus.
