Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Aeronautical Engineering Apprentice. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on live Avionics projects, gain hands-on experience of some of the most complex engineering challenges in the world today, and develop yourself in an encouraging, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on live Avionics projects to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills
  • Contribute to the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and technicians to achieve project goals
  • Develop your skills and knowledge through training and development programs
  • Participate in STEM Outreach activities and contribute to the GE Apprentice network
Requirements
  • BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering at grade DMM or above
  • Equivalent qualification with appropriate Mathematics content
  • 5 GCSE's (including Math and English, at C/4 or above)
  • Commitment to Personal Development and Community Volunteering
  • Dedication to a career in technology and a genuine passion for engineering
  • Some relevant work experience
  • Pro-activity, initiative, and enthusiasm
  • A genuine interest in, and experience of, working with people
  • An analytic and collaborative approach to problem-solving
