Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Sustainable Materials: Create and implement sustainable and responsible colour and materials content for our brands.
  • Conceptualize and Realize Innovative Solutions: Develop and realize innovative proof of concepts and material solutions for interior and exterior applications.
  • Research and Analysis: Research trends, consumer insights, and competitor benchmarking to inform material strategies.
  • Colour and Material Development: Develop new colours and materials, create mood boards, and realize material concepts.
  • Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement colour and material design proposals for concepts and design vision properties.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Support Interior and Exterior teams with asset creation, coordinate and collaborate with external suppliers.
  • Translation and Communication: Translate material concepts from 2D to 3D product, developing materials to adhere to approved test specifications.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Problem-Solving: Share best practice with the team, engage in creative problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • Education: Relevant Design or Arts Degree.
  • Design Software Competency: Design software competency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of materials and colour, the design industry, and luxury brands.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Communication and Presentation: Proven creative presentation skills and ability to use internet resources for research purposes.
  • Collaboration and Adaptability: Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Passion and Motivation: Passion for Colour and Material Technology and Design.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to plan and undertake projects to a deadline.
