About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Elevator Installation Engineer to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of elevators and escalators.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new elevators and escalators with quality and efficiency
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines
- Liaise directly with customers to build a good working relationship
- Conduct inspections before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Qualified to install elevators to the highest standards
- Hold a driver's license (as necessary)
- At least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or at least experience on site and/or installation
- Good electrical and mechanical skills
- Comfortable with plan reading and calculations
- Appreciate manual trades and the satisfaction of seeing the finished work
