Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Huws Gray Group. As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Branch Manager in running a successful branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the yard operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the management of our fleet of vehicles to ensure timely and effective delivery of customer orders.
- Lead and manage a team of 8 team members across the yard and drivers.
- Responsible for all yard stock management, including inventory control and ordering.
- Ensure the branch is equipped to efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of customer enquiries and orders, through to delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a team leader or management role, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
