About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing 2:1 support to a young person with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting individuals with complex health needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and limited expressive language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2:1 support to the young person, including all aspects of their health, care, and medical plan
  • Support with manual handling and transitions, including hoisting
  • Assist with personal care, therapy input, and planning fun and enjoyable activities
  • Work alongside a team member to ensure continuity of care and support
Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and limited expressive language
  • Confident with manual handling and supporting with personal care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
