We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our team at Artisan People Group in London.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of all Supply Chain operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to review demand forecasts, assess material requirements, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and lead times.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global contract manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Utilize the ERP system, SAP, to maintain accurate order information, stock levels, product data, and stock transfers, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Manage the import shipping schedule, obtaining quotes from freight forwarders, providing and/or completing necessary shipment documentation, and monitoring shipment schedules to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify and resolve root-cause problems related to production, logistics, imports, and exports, and customs clearance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Verify and authorize supplier packing lists and invoices, working closely with Finance to resolve any discrepancies and provide input towards priority invoices.
- Produce a weekly stock report, communicating current stock levels, stock cover, future inbounds, current, and expected out-of-stocks, ensuring timely decision-making.
- Support the arranging of freight for all stock transfers between 3PL locations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including NPD, Regulatory, and Design, throughout the ordering process, placing NPD orders, and ensuring timely supply of packaging artworks.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to review and identify opportunities for improved processes, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and numerical skills, with a knack for clear communication and utilizing information effectively. Basic to intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, are a must. Experience with ERP systems, commercial awareness, and knowledge of SAP are valuable assets. Having worked in both large and small companies, ideally with a luxury background, is a plus. Finally, excellent communication, independent judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and superb organization are key. You will be a natural relationship builder, adaptable, and a champion for our company's values.
