Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to clients on tenancy-related issues, including rent arrears, eviction, and housing benefits.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to help clients achieve their goals and improve their tenancy sustainment.
- Work closely with clients to identify and address any barriers to tenancy sustainment, such as social isolation and exclusion.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor client progress and adjust support plans as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
- Knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits, including the benefits system and entitlements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
