About the Role

The Merchant Navy Welfare Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO in the day-to-day operation of our office in Southampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO, including managing schedules, coordinating travel, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the office, including supervising staff and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, and partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including IT literacy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
