CASS Financial Services Assistant Audit Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our External Audit team, specializing in CASS audits for financial services clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing statutory and CASS audits, providing expert advice to clients, and building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage statutory and CASS audits for financial services clients, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Provide expert advice to clients on audit matters, including technical issues and commercial implications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring effective risk assessment and mitigation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve audit objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- Professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Experience of managing statutory and CASS audits for financial services clients.
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
- Project management experience.
- Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies (desirable).
