About the Role

KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our CASS audit team. As a key member of our Financial Services practice, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of market leading entities in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor audit staff to ensure high-quality delivery of CASS assurance reports
  • Manage partner involvement on engagements and provide regular progress reports
  • Act as the primary point of contact for audited entities, managing timetables, costs, and cash collection
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders on industry matters and establish strong internal and external networks
  • Drive the planning and execution of audits, including interim and final statutory audits
  • Participate in tender processes and work as part of the independence team
  • Contribute to the Banking Audit department management group and drive strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • Recent and significant CASS audit experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
  • Knowledge of FS sector developments and ability to build strategic partnerships
  • Drive and resilience to deliver in a pressured environment
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Good knowledge of CASS regulations and FS sector understanding
