Role Overview

Integral UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team. This role involves carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our commercial building portfolio, ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules diligently, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Produce comprehensive technical reports and documentation, detailing work carried out and any findings.
  • Utilize technology systems effectively to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the team and clients, communicating clearly and professionally at all times.
  • Contribute to the production of quotations for additional works by providing accurate technical information.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and briefings, sharing knowledge and insights.
  • Maintain meticulous time sheets and ensure timely submission.
  • Adhere to strict health, safety, environmental, and quality protocols, promoting a safe and responsible working environment.
  • Manage sub-contractors effectively when required, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in high-profile commercial building maintenance.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • C&G Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent qualifications.
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (or willingness to attain through additional training).
  • C&G 2391 Test and Inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and certification.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in report writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively under pressure.
