About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge, a fast-growing business that values real cooking and customer satisfaction.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high-quality dishes, ensuring that every meal meets our standards. You will be working with fresh ingredients, preparing hot and cold food, and maintaining good hygiene practices.

What We're Looking For
  • You are probably an existing Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Chef that is looking to take the next step in their career.
  • You will ideally have experience of working with fresh ingredients and be able to demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices)
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things Allergens, kitchen essentials and Food Safety.
