Join Our Team as a Systems Safety Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Systems Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team at EC&I Partners. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, cross-border environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in project delivery by designing and implementing new Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems, adhering to established lifecycle and engineering standards.
- Execute modification workscopes for existing Pro-Safe systems, ensuring compliance with lifecycle and engineering practices.
- Occasionally provide support by visiting onshore and offshore sites for maintenance, installation, and commissioning tasks.
- Assist the sales team by preparing project support documentation for quotations, modifications, and renewals of support contracts.
- Enhance customer understanding of our safety engineering capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures and documentation related to IEC61508/61511 certification.
- Support training initiatives to ensure proficiency with the latest Safety Shutdown and Distributed Control Systems.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Recognized qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering, or equivalent.
- BOSIET/medical certifications or willingness to obtain them upon hiring.
- Experience in maintaining Safety Shutdown and Distributed Control Systems in both onshore and offshore settings.
- Familiarity with IEE 17th edition wiring regulations.
- Wiring experience is advantageous.
- Functional safety experience and relevant certification are preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of relay logic and PLCs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Candidate Expectations:
Willingness to travel as required.
