Job Title: Retail Stocktake Team Leader

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas

Hours of Work: Evening/Night Shifts, up to 5 days in a 7-day working pattern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Stocktake Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering the end-to-end stock taking service while on our client's sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams of stock counters to ensure accurate and timely completion of stock counts
  • Deliver exceptional customer service standards on all sites
  • Monitor and improve team productivity
  • Ensure correct procedures and processes are followed
  • Travel to different client sites each day, with occasional overnight stays

Requirements:

  • A Full Driving License
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure
  • Manage time effectively and work without immediate supervision
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Working Environment:

The role will involve working in a warehouse or large retail premises environment, with prolonged periods of standing and some use of step stools and ladders. Some sites may require access to and work with ground and high-level stock.
