Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Nordex Group. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of Nordex wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site performance analysis and implement action plans to increase turbine availability.
  • Work closely with technicians and back-office staff to perform on-the-job demonstrations and training.
  • Support on-site single turbine improvements and provide software and hardware updates.
  • Provide on-line and on-phone technical support to ensure seamless communication with customers.
  • Create reports on turbine or turbine component performance.
  • Parameter disabling and alarm change handling as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the mechanical/electrical industry with knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Mechanical or electrical training through time-served or technical college qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Ability to identify and define problems, extract crucial information from technical data, and develop workable solutions.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, lead, and improve.
  • Computer literacy and confidence in using MS Office, database, and workload management systems.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 100m and pass a working at height test.
  • Full UK/EU driving license required for regular travel and nights away from home.
