About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Moody's Investors Service. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth by sourcing new sales opportunities and building strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers: Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to build strategic account plans and territories.
  • Route Qualified Opportunities: Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales professional for further development and closure.
  • Develop Target Account Intelligence: Conduct research to develop target account contact information and account intelligence to generate an understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Utilize CRM Software: Utilize CRM software to track and measure all sales activity.
Requirements
  • First Experience in Sales: First experience in a sales/business development/account management role in a software or financial organization.
  • Professional Fluency in English: Professional fluency in English and Portuguese is essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear written communication skills and confident phone manner including objection handling.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
