Senior Data Scientist - Pricing and Revenue Management

EasyJet is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Commercial organisation, specifically the Trading, Pricing, and Revenue Management department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and managing cutting-edge pricing systems and algorithms, driving key pricing decisions, and collaborating with academia on pioneering revenue management research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data-driven pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability
  • Develop and maintain complex pricing models, algorithms, and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and strategy
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and pricing
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in applied statistical modeling using software like R, Python, Julia, SAS, Stata, SPSS, JMP, or Minitab
  • Experience in industries such as airlines, lodging, car rentals, or e-commerce
  • Strong understanding of pricing problems, data science, and revenue management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and creative team environment
