About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Repair Specialist to join our in-house Service Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and testing our Legacy products, supporting team development, and communicating with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and test Focusrite, Focusrite Pro, and Novation products, prioritizing non-warranty and Legacy product ranges.
  • Diagnose, fault find, and repair products to component level.
  • Ensure effective turnaround of products through the department.
  • Support the Service team through mentoring and documenting technical knowledge.
  • Liaise with engineers and manufacturing in a closed-loop feedback system to improve product reliability.
  • Assist customers and external service partners with remote diagnosis and repair advice.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of electronics repair and servicing experience.
  • Debug and repairing analogue audio products and synthesizers to component level.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Previous experience mentoring or providing training to colleagues.
  • Collaborative personality and works well as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic outlook.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • A polite and helpful manner.
  • Experience with Windows and MacOS systems.
Desirable Skills
  • Interest in music/audio and experience with music technology products and digital audio workstations.
  • Detail-focused and able to identify trends.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage own workload.
  • Experience using ERP software and completing admin tasks such as cost estimates.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
