About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Partner to join our dynamic team at Samworth Brothers. As a key business partner to the commercial team, you will play a crucial role in building a solid understanding of product gross margin, advising on promotional mechanics, and delivering insight through customer cost models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of commercial finance daily/weekly reporting relating to sales and margin.
- Business partnering with the commercial team, facilitating requests and delivering to time and accuracy.
- Heavily involved in all meetings throughout the NPD lifecycle, driving the finance agenda and challenging critical paths to ensure process is adhered to, without stifling developmental creativity.
- Oversee the preparation of product costings through liaison with the NPD, technical, purchasing, and operational teams.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance, preferably with AAT or equivalent qualifications and working towards professional qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA). Previous experience within a finance function, particularly in FMCG/manufacturing, is essential. You should have a full Microsoft suite understanding with familiarity of Power BI.
