Community Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Community Development Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of partners and stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that promote physical activity and health and wellbeing in East Suffolk.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, health sector organisations, and charitable/voluntary organisations.
- Support the aims and objectives of the Waveney Physical Activity Working group, ensuring the physical activity needs of the community are understood and developed.
- Work collaboratively with the Active Suffolk team to deliver projects and initiatives that promote physical activity and health and wellbeing across Suffolk.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on physical activity and health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of policies and strategies that promote physical activity and health and wellbeing in East Suffolk.
