About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve store objectives
  • Assist in the development and implementation of store strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability
  • Manage and control store operations, including stock management, cash handling, and security
  • Conduct performance management and absence management as required
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring colleague safety and stock/cash security
  • Carry out cash reconciliations, voids, and refunds, and other management tasks
  • Be a role model and lead the team to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Work with colleagues to promote the store and engage with the local community
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous management or supervisor experience in a retail or similar fast-paced operation
  • Committed to achieving and sustaining exceptional customer service standards
  • Able to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Able to take appropriate action and make decisions
