Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Meritus Talent. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our client's Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software items used within the HWIL facility, including software to control mathematical models with input/output interfaces in Real Time and software for performing data analysis and visualisation.
  • Develop software using C, C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Work within the Linux environment and have experience with multi-threaded software products.
  • Collaborate with varied engineering teams and be able to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability and experience of software development, ideally using C, C++, or similar.
  • Experience developing within the Linux environment.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work with varied engineering teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of integrating hardware and software.
  • Experience with multi-threaded software products.
  • Experience of driver level software development.
  • Experience using Matlab/Simulink.
  • Understanding of Real Time computing systems.
  • Understanding of mathematical modelling concepts.
  • Ability to visualise and analyse complex systems.
