Job Title: HGV Technician

Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at a leading nationwide public transport company. If you have a solid background in heavy vehicle maintenance, particularly buses and coaches, this could be the perfect role for you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles.
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Perform safety checks and prepare vehicles for MOT tests.
  • Keep accurate records of work done and parts used.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide excellent service to clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Bus Mechanic or similar role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of PSV systems and their operation.
  • Confident use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence (PSV licence is a bonus).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
