Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and well-being of our students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to the success of our school community.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing individualized support to students, including those with special needs, to ensure their safety and access to learning.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, as well as supervising students during activities and breaks.
  • Developing and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social interaction and engagement among students.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to identify and address student needs, and contributing to the development of individualized learning plans.
  • Communicating effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning experience.

This is a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2025, pending budget reviews. The working hours are 15.25 hours per week, term-time only, plus 2 inset days.
